(Free Mid-day meals
scheme) May the benign grace

that the benign Government of Tamilnadu has launched the Annadhana Scheme
Fund to feed devotees at midday in temples in the State of Tamilnadu from
23.03.2002. This scheme is being earnestly implemented at this famous abode
of Lord Ranganathaswamy, Srirangam the “Bhooloka Vaikuntam” and the
first and foremost among the 108 holy places (Vaishnava Divya Desams). Under this scheme, two
hundred devotees are fed daily at midday (12:15 PM). This scheme has been well received by the
devotees and public at large. The scheme is being
implemented with the donations being received from The noble act of
feeding the devotees at midday in this holiest of the holies will confer
immense benefits. It is also an act

“Srirangam” the
foremost Vaishnavite Sthalam amongst 108: “Dhivya Desams” considered being the
abode of god Mahavishnu and hence it is known as “Bhoologa Vaikundam” the
paradise on earth. In this big temple
“Nithya Aradhana” is being performed six times in a day. The ritualistic service rendered in each:
Pooja kalam carries its own importance according to age old tradition and
every devotee public would feel satisfied if he partakes in any poojas by
contributing his mite to meet the expenses connected therewith. In fact there are anxious enquiries from
all sections of the devotees as to whether they can have a chance to render
service to the god by meeting the entire expenses defrayed for conducting
various poojas in a day. Hence, a
scheme has been evolved, so that every devotee can contribute his mite for
conducting all poojas in a day or for conducting certain poojas as he may
choose. To know the capital amount required for meeting the expenditure to
the various poojas click the link e-pooja. If the contribution is made for particular
pooja in a particular day the donor will be honoured with “Prasadams” offered
to the deity during such pooja. If
the expenditure for all poojas in a day is met out by a single devotee, the
holy garland and “Vasthira” adorning the deity will also be presented to him
along with “Prasadams” offered during all poojas in that day and this honor
will be done at the time of “Ksheerannam Pooja” at 06:45 PM. This Scheme has been
introduced in Arulmigu Ranganathar (Perumal) Sannathi, Arulmigu Ranganachiar
(Thayar) Sannathi and in Arulmigu Chakkarathalwar (Sudharsana) Sannathi. Devotees from all
walks of life are requested to avail themselves of the opportunity for
partaking in this devotional scheme and get the blessings of God Arulmigu Ranganathaswamy,
Goddess Arulmigu Ranganachiar and Arulmigu Chakkarathalwar. The Contribution for
this scheme may be sent by means of crossed Demand KIND ATTENTION Devotees are hereby informed that no one has been authorized to
receive donations, Endowments etc. in any shrines (sannathi) in the
temple. Devotees are kindly requested
to contact the Temple Administrative Office to perform Archanai,
Thirumanjanam etc. All the payments can be made only to the Executive Officer
of the Temple. Any made in this
temple office will be issued a receipt.
Except the Administrative Office of the temple, no individual is
